THANK YOU!!!
Every donor, sponsor, and caring heart has contributed to our mission.
Pinellas County has collected our contribution of $1.5M.
“Making this contribution is a major milestone for our organization and the thousands of donors and supporters that have helped make it possible. And our contribution underscores that we all want the County to continue to pursue a policy of acquiring and preserving important natural habitat sites in Pinellas County.”
– Tex Carter, WKPG President
We thank Pinellas County for helping our community preserve Florida’s natural habitats.
The final step in saving the West Klosterman Preserve is the County’s purchase of the property. This will then establish The West Klosterman Preserve as a part of the Mariner’s Point Management Area. It has been our mission to protect natural land that is teeming with animals and plant life, including endangered species! We plan to further our goal to help save other natural untouched plots of land throughout Pinellas County and the State of Florida.
