Pinellas County has finalized the purchase of WK Preserve.
Thanks to your support, and the efforts of our community, 14 natural acres are now permanently protected from development.
We thank the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, County staff, Pinellas County School Board, the staff at the School Board, and the many other elected officials and civil servants who have supported our community in preserving Florida’s local natural habitats. We thank each and every donor, from the folks who dropped a few dollars in our collection bin at events to those who contributed the majority of the funds needed to achieve our $1.5 million goal – without each of you, we’d still be passing around that bin. Learn more about our donors here.
