Happy Halloween!
As we celebrate the spook-tacular festivities of Halloween, don’t forget about safety! Of course, trick-or-treaters should use caution when walking through neighborhoods or crossing streets (travel in groups, wear something reflective, and carry flashlights) and everyone should be wary of the little critters that go bump in the night (that is, watch out for the trick-or-treaters while driving).
We’re excited to share that the Baywood Village Market is still taking place this season, on November 23! This is a wonderful market that supports the neighborhood of Baywood Village. Held twice a year, it’s a great opportunity to pick-up locally made gifts and support an incredible community of neighbors. Scroll down for more details!
We don’t have much new news regarding the fundraising and administrative work for the acquisition of the WK Preserve. Some members of our team are still recovering from the storms, or supporting recovering communities, and certainly Pinellas County government is inundated with impacted residents and managing the cleanup. We are confident that the delay will be temporary and that we’ll have a more concrete update before our December 10 deadline. We gratefully continue accepting donations, and are especially grateful to our newest sponsors – scroll down to learn more!
You can always check out our home page, wkpreserve.com, or our Frequently Asked Questions page at wkpreserve.com/FAQ, for the most up-to-date information.
Many of our Tampa Bay neighbors’ lives have returned to normal – and many have not. For those who are still battling water damage and mold, or struggling with insurance claims, please know that our hearts are with you. This time of year can be challenging for a lot of folks, even without significant storm impacts – please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need extra support during the holidays, or any time of the year.
Sincerely,
The WKPG Team

Baywood Village Market
309 Westwinds Drive, Palm Harbor, FL 34683
November 23, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
You’ll find plenty of unique holiday gifts from local artisans at this neighborhood market!
For more than two years, Baywood Village Market has helped amplify our mission through financial support, and by placing us in high traffic areas in their market at no cost to us! We’re sad to say that we won’t be able to attend this fall’s market, but we know it will be their best yet!
The market raises funds for neighborhood activities – with the clubhouse rendered unusable by hurricane damage, showing our support for this resilient community is one of the ways we can all give back after the damage caused by Helene and Milton.
